I already entered a comment unsuccessfully. Let's see how this goes. I am intrigued by this piece as it seems very different from your other work. I appreciate the physicality of the surface and the modulation of color. The process of the making of it is explicit, whereas in most of your work, it is implicit. There is a feeling of vastness and of entering into something.
I am an artist who wishes to embrace the unknowable. This led me to the voyage across the Atlantic Ocean and landed at Zen Buddhist center in US, where I lived for the several years. Zen became my approach to life, and the path and quest became entwined in and embodied in my art. I created this blog with the intention to share my inspirations, the way I try to deal with hindrances, both resulting in artworks and art making.
