Guardians of the Dharma
It is a big painting, 64 inch x 48 inch.
It is installed at the West Houston Zen Center
www.westhoustonzen.org
associated with Furnace Mountain Meditation Place in KY

This painting was a blessing to work on, it helped and IS helping me to deal with my own unfathomed dark tunnels...bottomless midnight pits...immeasurably endless infinite abysses of sorrow loneliness and love...
Yet now all eyes of all our spiritual protectors are wide open!
Visit us at the West Houston Zen Center and you will be blessed forever!

It helped me to open my eyes too. thanks!
ReplyDeleteWonderful colors and exquisite details. Reminds me
ReplyDeleteof all sorts of other gatherings--the cover of the Beatles
1967 Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearty Club Band album.
Also reminiscent of the Last Supper--Buddhist style.
Would be interesting to see a list of what these dudes
are using for names.

Wow, what a magnum opus. I think you should put up another picture of this painting in the place where it's actually hanging. Masterful work!
