Merging of dream and reality -- doesn't it produce the absolute reality of our inner moments of search and longing, and then fill us to the brim with revelations...Quick rough sketch. Following my own shadow...
Wonderful color and texture. Has a definite other world quality to it. Personally I don't have ANY inner moments of search and longing. Why spend scarce resources, the most valuable of which is time, searching for the answers to questions that have no answers? When someone reputable goes to the other side and comes back to tell us about it, then I will tune in. Until then, it's off to baseball games and other useless worldly distractions. This, of course, is not to discount the element of faith.

I am an artist who wishes to embrace the unknowable. This led me to the voyage across the Atlantic Ocean and landed at Zen Buddhist center in US, where I lived for the several years. Zen became my approach to life, and the path and quest became entwined in and embodied in my art. I created this blog with the intention to share my inspirations, the way I try to deal with hindrances, both resulting in artworks and art making.
